The Point at UNCSA

The Kenan Institute for the Arts and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts has begun an exploration of the campus perimeter, looking for opportunities to connect campus and community through creative placemaking. Roots First Design was engaged to identify a placemaking “activation” project at the intersection of Main Street and Waughtown Avenue. This highly visible location will serve as a central pedestrian entrance connecting the city Strollway and proposed Arts Walk through the UNCSA campus.
